Cranbourne Stone is pleased to announce the arrival of their new ‘5 axes’ waterjet cutting machine. This latest investment will continue to provide Cranbourne’s customers with high-quality precision cut pieces, keeping up with ever-increasing demand and offering even more creative solutions – and not just in stone…!
This latest edition to the Cranbourne arsenal has the capability to cut all types of stone, glass, plastic, wood and even steel up to 40mm thick! Cranbourne historically utilises their ’Champion 60’ CNC to produce profiled pieces in the manufacturing of swimming pool copings, grilles and natural stone paving, however, the introduction of the waterjet will speed up this process greatly, whilst still maintaining high accuracy and quality finish.

The installation has put a strain on current workflow whilst a few teething problems are being ironed out. Cranbourne would like to assure our clients that current orders are starting to flow nicely again and production is firmly back on track.
